سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ طَعَامٍ آكُلُهُ إِلَّا وَ أَنَا أَشْتَهِي أَنْ أُشَارَكَ فِيهِ أَوْ قَالَ يَشْرَكَنِي فِيهِ إِنْسَانٌ إِلَّا الرُّمَّانَ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ رُمَّانَةٍ إِلَّا وَ فِيهَا حَبَّةٌ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ.

Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar, from Muhammad ibn Salim, from Ahmad ibn al-Nadr from Mufaddal who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), state this Hadith. ‘I like to share with someone every food that I eat,’ or that he (the Imam) said, ‘A human being shares with me except pomegranate. In every pomegranate there is a grain from paradise.’”
