مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَسَدِيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

نَاوَلَ النَّبِيُّ ص- جَعْفَرَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع خِلَالًا فَقَالَ لَهُ يَا جَعْفَرُ تَخَلَّلْ فَإِنَّهُ مَصْلَحَةٌ لِلْفَمِ أَوْ قَالَ لِلِّثَةِ وَ مَجْلَبَةٌ لِلرِّزْقِ.

4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ibrahim al-Hadhdha’ from Ahmad ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Asadiy from a man who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) once gave a toothpick to Ja‘far ibn abu Talib (a.s.), and said, ‘O Ja‘far use a toothpick. It is beneficial for the mouth’ or he said, ‘It is beneficial for the gums and attracts sustenance.’”
