عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ بَكْرٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

لَا تُكْثِرْ مِنْ شُرْبِ الْمَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ مَادَّةٌ لِكُلِّ دَاءٍ.

4. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Hassan from Musa ibn Bakr from certain persons of our people who have said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Do not drink water excessively, it is the substance of every illness.’”
