عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ الْعَرْزَمِيِّ عَنْ حَاتِمِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمَدِينِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع كَانَ يَشْرَبُ الْمَاءَ وَ هُوَ قَائِمٌ ثُمَّ يَشْرَبُ مِنْ فَضْلِ وَضُوئِهِ قَائِماً ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَى الْحُسَيْنِ ع فَقَالَ

6. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from ibn al-‘Arzamiy from Hatim ibn ’Isma‘il al-Madiniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin once drank water standing. He then drank the water left from his wudu standing; then he turned to Al-Husayn (a.s.), and said, ‘Son, I saw your grandfather, the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, doing as I just did.’”
