9. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from Ahmad ibn al-Mubarak from al-Husayn ibn al-Hassan ibn ‘Asem from his father who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ’If one sleeps with eye powder containing Athmad (antimony) but without musk, he remains immune from Ma’ al-Aswad (a certain eye illness) all the time as long as he sleeps with it.”’
