قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع الدُّهْنُ يُلَيِّنُ الْبَشَرَةَ وَ يَزِيدُ فِي الدِّمَاغِ وَ يُسَهِّلُ مَجَارِيَ الْمَاءِ وَ يُذْهِبُ الْقَشَفَ وَ يُسْفِرُ اللَّوْنَ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Qasim ibn Yahya from his grandfather al-Hassan ibn Rashid from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘Applying oil softens the skin, increases the ability of brain, opens the channels of water, removes the scaling and makes color to glow.”’
