عَنْهُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُعَلَّى عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

شَكَتْ أَسَافِلُ الْحِيطَانِ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِنْ ثِقْلِ أَعَالِيهَا فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَيْهَا يَحْمِلُ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضاً.

10. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Ibrahim ibn Ahmad al-Thaqafiy from Ali ibn al-Mu‘alla’ from Ibrahim ibn al-Khattab in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, The lower parts of the wall complained before Allah because of the weight of the upper parts and Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, inspired it saying, ‘Certain parts of you must leave the other parts.’”
