عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ص إِذَا خَرَجَ فِي الصَّيْفِ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ وَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ فِي الشِّتَاءِ مِنَ الْبَرْدِ دَخَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَ رُوِيَ أَيْضاً كَانَ دُخُولُهُ وَ خُرُوجُهُ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ.

14. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that when the Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, wanted to travel in summer he would leave on Thursday, and in winter because of cold enter on Friday. It also is narrated that his leaving and entering took place on a Friday night.’”
