الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فِي أَدَبِ الصَّبِيِّ وَ الْمَمْلُوكِ فَقَالَ خَمْسَةٌ أَوْ سِتَّةٌ وَ ارْفُقْ.

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moala Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Hammad Bin Usman who said, ‘I spoke to Abu Abdullah asws regarding disiplining of the child and the owned (slave), so he asws said: ‘Five, or six, and be kind’.
