سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع- عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَتَلَهُ الْقِصَاصُ هَلْ لَهُ دِيَةٌ قَالَ لَوْ كَانَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُقْتَصَّ مِنْ أَحَدٍ وَ مَنْ قَتَلَهُ الْحَدُّ فَلَا دِيَةَ لَهُ.

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Mufazzal Bin Salih, from Zayd Al Shahaam who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah asws about a man killed by ‘الْقِصَاصُ’ the retaliation, is there a wergild for him?’ He asws said: ‘If it was like that, no one would be retaliated from, and the one who is killed by the legal penalty ( Hadd ), so there is no wergild for him’.
