سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ سِيرُوا الْبَرْدَيْنِ قُلْتُ إِنَّا نَتَخَوَّفُ مِنَ الْهَوَامِّ فَقَالَ إِنْ أَصَابَكُمْ شَيْءٌ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مَعَ أَنَّكُمْ مَضْمُونُونَ.
English translationMuhammad Sarwar
488. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail Bin Bazi’e, from Munzar in Jayfar, from Hisham Bin Saalim who said: I heard Abu Abdullah (asws) saying: ‘Travel when it is cool (time of the day)’. I said, ‘We are afraid of the pests’. So he (asws) said: ‘Even if something affects you, it is better for you in view to the fact that you will be safe (from sunstroke), as you are the protected ones (from pets)’.

[3]أي الغداة و العشى. و قوله:« انا نتخوف الهوام» هى جمع هامة و هي الدابّة أو كل ذات سم يقتل و الأول اظهر و يمكن أن يقرأ بتشديد الواو و تخفيف الميم قال الفيروزآبادي:ص 313
