12. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid al-‘Attar from Yunus ibn Ya’qub from abu Basir who has said the following: “Once I said to Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘Our sustenance has been delayed.’ The Imam was angered and told me to say, ‘O Lord, You have undertaken to provide me sustenance, and to all walking beings, O the best to call for help, O the best to plead with, O the best of charity providers, O the best of hope bestow upon me such and such, . . . mention your wish in place of ‘such and such’.’”
