عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ قَالَ:

15. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn al- Hakam from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jundab from Sufyan ibn al-Samt who has said the following: “Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) ‘How was the Holy Quran revealed?’ The Imam said, ‘Recite as you have been taught.’’’
