سَمِعْتُ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع يَقُولُ نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ أَثْلَاثاً ثُلُثٌ فِينَا وَ فِي عَدُوِّنَا وَ ثُلُثٌ سُنَنٌ وَ أَمْثَالٌ وَ ثُلُثٌ فَرَائِضُ وَ أَحْكَامٌ.
‘The Holy Quran came in three parts: One third about us ( Ahl al-Bayt) and about our enemies, one third about traditions and axioms and one third about obligations and laws.’”
