عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع رَجُلٌ بَالَ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ مَاءٌ فَقَالَ يَعْصِرُ أَصْلَ ذَكَرِهِ إِلَى طَرَفِهِ ثَلَاثَ عَصَرَاتٍ وَ يَنْتُرُ طَرَفَهُ فَإِنْ خَرَجَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ شَيْءٌ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ الْبَوْلِ وَ لَكِنَّهُ مِنَ الْحَبَائِلِ.

1. ʿAlī b. Ibrāhīm, from his father, from Ḥammād, from Ḥarīz, from Muḥammad b. Muslim, who said: I asked Abū Jaʿfar (AS) about a man who urinates but does not have water with him (for purification). He replied: He should squeeze the base of his penis to its tip three times and then shake the tip. If anything comes out after that, it is not from urine but from the ḥabā'il (moisture from passageways and veins).
