عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَبِي دَاوُدَ جَمِيعاً عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ رَجُلٍ بَالَ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَوَجَدَ بَلَلًا قَالَ لَا يَتَوَضَّأُ إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ مِنَ الْحَبَائِلِ.

2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from and abu Dawud all al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Safwan ibn Yahya from al-‘Ala’ ibn abu Ya‘fur who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who urinates, then takes Wudu. He then stands up for Salah (prayer) and finds a certain moisture. He (the Imam) said, ’He does not need Wudu; it is of Haba’il (passageways, veins).”
