3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Ahmad ibn ‘Ushaym from Safwan who has said the following: “Once a man asked al-Rida (a.s.), when I was present, saying, ‘There is a wound in my anus. I take Wudu and wash clean; but then I find wetness and yellowness there. Do I need to take Wudu again ? He (the Imam) said, ‘Had you cleaned it? He replied, ‘Yes, I did so.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, but pour water on it and you do not need to take Wudu again.” Ahmad ibn abu Nasr has said that a man asked al-Rida (a.s.), a question like that in Hadith of Safwan.
