Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Tha’labah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), would prohibit women to examine themselves at night during their Hayd (menses), saying that it can be a discharge of a yellowish color fluid or some kind of dirt.’”
