قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ص وَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَحْتَرِقُ بِالنَّارِ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَصُبُّوا عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ صَبّاً وَ أَنْ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ.

6. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from abu al-Jawza’ from al-Husayn ibn ‘Ulwan from ‘Amr ibn Khalid from Zayd ibn Ali from his ancestors who has said the following: “’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), was asked about a man who was burnt. He (the Imam) instructed them to pour water on him well, then perform Salah (prayer) for the deceased.’”

[2]أي لا يمس جسده و لا يدلك بل يكتفى بالصب لخوف تناثر جلده عند الدلك و قال العلامة- رحمه اللّه- في المنتهى: و يصب الماء على المحترق و المجدور و صاحب القروح و من يخاف تناثر جلده من المس لاجل الضرورة و لو خيف من ذلك أيضا يمّم بالتراب لانه محل الضرورة. و قال الشهيد في الذكرى: يلوح من الاقتصار على الصب الاجزاء بالقراح لان الماءين الآخرين لا يتم فائدتهما بدون الدلك غالبا و حينئذ فالظاهر الاجزاء بالمرة لان الامر لا يدلّ على التكرار. انتهى.ص 213
