عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ جَمِيلٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَكْرَمَ بِالْجُمُعَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَسَنَّهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص بِشَارَةً لَهُمْ وَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ تَوْبِيخاً لِلْمُنَافِقِينَ وَ لَا يَنْبَغِي تَرْكُهَا فَمَنْ تَرَكَهَا مُتَعَمِّداً فَلَا صَلَاةَ لَهُ.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from Jamil from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Allah has granted honor to the believers by means of sending (Surah (chapter) of al-Jumu‘ah). The Messenger of Allah established it a Sunnah (noble tradition) and good news for them. He sent al-Munafiqun to reprimand the hypocrites. It is not proper to omit it. Salah (prayer) of one who willfully omits it is not valid.’”
