وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ ع إِنَّ لَنَا رَطْبَةً وَ أَرُزّاً فَمَا الَّذِي عَلَيْنَا فِيهَا فَقَالَ ع أَمَّا الرَّطْبَةُ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ فِيهَا شَيْ‌ءٌ وَ أَمَّا الْأَرُزُّ فَمَا سَقَتِ السَّمَاءُ بِالْعُشْرِ وَ مَا سُقِيَ بِالدَّلْوِ فَنِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَا كِلْتَ بِالصَّاعِ أَوْ قَالَ وَ كِيلَ بِالْمِكْيَالِ.

5. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Sama‘ah from those whom he has mentioned from Aban from abu Maryam who has said the foilowing: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about plantation and what is subject to Zakat from it. He (the Imam) said, ‘There is Zakat on wheat, barley, corn, rice, al-sult, and lintels and all of these are subject to Zakat.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Everything that is measured by al-Sa‘ and amounts to al- Awsaq are subject to Zakat.’”
