قُلْتُ الْمُحْرِمُ يُؤْذِيهِ الذُّبَابُ حِينَ يُرِيدُ النَّوْمَ يُغَطِّي وَجْهَهُ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَ لَا يُخَمِّرْ رَأْسَهُ وَ الْمَرْأَةُ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ لَا بَأْسَ بِأَنْ تُغَطِّيَ وَجْهَهَا كُلَّهُ عِنْدَ النَّوْمِ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab from Zurarah who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja’far (a.s.), about a man who covers his face when sleeping because of flies that bother him. He (the Imam) said, ’Yes, he can do so, but must not cover his head; and women are permitted to cover their faces when they sleep.”’

[1]اختلف الاصحاب في جواز تغطية الرجل المحرم وجهه. فذهب الاكثر إلى الجواز بل قال في التذكرة: إنّه قول علمائنا أجمع و منعه ابن عقيل و جعل كفّارته إطعام مساكين في يده و قال الشيخ في التهذيب: فأما تغطية الوجه فانه يجوز ذلك مع الاختيار غير انه يلزم الكفّارة و متى لم ينو الكفّارة فلا يجوز له ذلك: و قد ورد بالجواز روايات كثيرة منها هذه الرواية و أمّا جواز تغطية المرأة فلا بدّ من حملها على الضرورة.( آت)ص 349
