سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَتَلَ ثَعْلَباً قَالَ عَلَيْهِ دَمٌ قُلْتُ فَأَرْنَباً قَالَ مِثْلُ مَا عَلَى الثَّعْلَبِ.

7. Sahl ibn Ziyad has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who kills a fox. He (the Imam) said, ‘He owes one animal offering.’ I asked about his killing a rabbit. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is like what is for a fox.’”

[1]لا خلاف بين الاصحاب في لزوم الشاة في قتل الثعلب و الارنب و اختلف في مساواتهما للظبى في الابدال من الإطعام و الصيام و اقتصر ابن الجنيد و ابن بابويه و ابن عقيل على الشاة و لم يتعرضوا لابدالها. و قال في المدارك: يمكن المناقشة في ثبوت الشاة في الثعلب ان لم يكن اجماعيا لضعف مستنده.( آت)ص 387
