2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who lodges with his debtor; if he can use his food. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, he can do so for three days but not for more than three days.”’
