مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فِي رَجُلٍ اشْتَرَى جَارِيَةً فَوَقَعَ عَلَيْهَا قَالَ

إِنْ وَجَدَ فِيهَا عَيْباً فَلَيْسَ لَهُ أَنْ يَرُدَّهَا وَ لَكِنْ يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ بِقِيمَةِ مَا نَقَصَهَا الْعَيْبُ قَالَ قُلْتُ هَذَا قَوْلُ عَلِيٍّ ع قَالَ نَعَمْ.

5. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Safwan from Mansur ibn Hazim who has said the following: “About the case of a man who bought a slave-girl and did sexual intercourse, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, Tf he found a defect, he could not return her but ask for what the defect had reduced from her price.’ I then asked, ‘Is this how Ali (a.s.), had judged?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, this is the way Ali (a.s.), had judged.’”
