كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ لَهُ خَشَبٌ فَبَاعَهُ مِمَّنْ يَتَّخِذُ مِنْهُ بَرَابِطَ فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ وَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ لَهُ خَشَبٌ فَبَاعَهُ مِمَّنْ يَتَّخِذُهُ صُلْبَانَ قَالَ لَا.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Umar ibn ‘Udhaynah who has said the following: “I once wrote to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and asked about a man who had a piece of wood and sold it to those who make barbat (musical tool) out of it. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’

[2]المشهور بين الاصحاب حرمة بيع الخشب ليعمل منه هياكل للعبادة و آلات الحرام و كراهته ممن يعمل ذلك إذا لم يذكر انه يشتريه له فالخبر محمول على ما إذا لم يذكر أن يشتريه لذلك فالنهى الأخير محمول على الكراهة و حمل الأول على عدم الذكر و الثاني على الذكر بعيد.( آت)ص 226
