Zurarah said: "I asked Imam (a.s) upon whom is the Jumu’ah prayer obligatory?" Imam (a.s) said: "It is obligatory upon seven people among the Muslims, and there is no Jumu’ah prayer for fewer than five Muslims, one of whom is the Imam. When seven gather and do not fear (any threat), one of them leads them in prayer and delivers the sermon."
