وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّهُ سُمِّيَ الْعَتِيقَ لِأَنَّهُ بَيْتٌ عَتِيقٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَ لَمْ يَمْلِكْهُ أَحَدٌ.
