رُوِي أَنَّ حَرِيمَ الْمَسْجِدِ أَرْبَعُونَ ذِرَاعاً مِنْ كُلِّ نَاحِيَةٍ وَ حَرِيمَ الْمُؤْمِنِ فِي الصَّيْفِ بَاعٌ وَ رُوِيَ عَظْمُ الذِّرَاعِ.

Hadith.3419 - It has been narrated: "The protected area (harim) of a mosque is forty cubits from every side, and the protected area (harim) of a believer in the summer is a span." And it has also been narrated: "The length of a cubit."

[1]و لا منافاة بينهما لان ذلك على سبيل الاستحسان و التخيير، و يمكن أن يراد بالباع حريم الجانبين مجموعا فيقرب لكل جانب من عظم الذراع( مراد) و الباع قدر مد اليدين، قال سلطان العلماء: و لعلّ هذا في الشتاء و ذلك في الصيف أو يحمل الباع على الافضل.ص 102
