نَعَمْ غُرِّمَهُ بِمَا جَنَتْ يَدُهُ فَإِنَّكَ إِنَّمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ لِيُصْلِحَ وَ لَمْ تُعْطِهِ لِيُفْسِدَ.

Hadith.3918 - Ali bin Al-Hakam narrated from Isma'il bin Al-Sabbah, who said: I asked Abu Abdillah (as) about a launderer to whom a garment is given, but he burns or tears it. Should he be held liable? Imam (as) said: "Yes, he is liable for the damage caused by his actions, for you gave it to him to repair or clean, not to ruin."

[4]في الكافي« عن عليّ بن الحكم عن أبي الصباح» و كذا في التهذيب لكن في الاستبصار ج 3 ص 132« إسماعيل عن أبي الصباح» و الظاهر هو الصواب لما روى نحوه عن الحسين ابن سعيد عن محمّد بن الفضيل عن أبي الصباح و هو إبراهيم بن نعيم الكنانيّ و عليه فلعل المراد باسماعيل إسماعيل بن عبد الخالق الأسدى و هو خير فاضل لرواية عليّ بن الحكم عنه في موارد عديدة، و العلم عند اللّه.ص 253
