وَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع إِذَا كَانَ فِي الْحَدِّ لَعَلَّ أَوْ عَسَى فَالْحَدُّ مُعَطَّلٌ.

Hadith.5071 - Commander of the Faithful (as) said: "If there is doubt expressed with 'perhaps' or 'it may be' in enforcing a legal punishment, then the punishment is to be suspended."
