وَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع لَا حَدَّ عَلَى مَجْنُونٍ حَتَّى يُفِيقَ وَ لَا عَلَى الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يُدْرِكَ وَ لَا عَلَى النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ.

Hadith.5076 - Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "There is no legal punishment upon a mad person until they regain sanity, nor upon a child until they reach maturity, nor upon a sleeping person until they wake up."
