Ali ibn Ibrahim reported from Salih ibn al-Sindi, from Ja'far ibn Bashir, and Muhammad ibn Yahya reported from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from Ibn Faddal, all narrating from Abu Jamila, from Khalid ibn Ammar, from Sudair, who said: "I heard Abu Ja'far al-Baqir (as) while I was exiting, and he took my hand and faced the house (Kaaba) and said: 'O Sudair, the people were commanded to come to these stones and perform tawaf around them, then come to us and nd declare their allegiance to us. This is the word of Allah: Indeed, I am the Forgiving for whoever repents, believes, and does righteous deeds, and then follows guidance.' Then he gestured with his hand to his chest, indicating our leadership. He then said: 'O Sudair, let me show you those who lead people away from the religion of Allah.' Then he looked at Abu Hanifa and Sufyan al-Thawri at that time, and they were sitting in a circle in the mosque. He said: 'These are the ones who lead people away from the religion of Allah without guidance from Allah and without a clear Book. If these evil ones had sat in their homes, people would have wandered about and would not have found anyone to inform them about Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, and about His Messenger (saw) until they come to us, and we inform them about Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, and about His Messenger (saw).'"

1. A number of our people has narrated has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Sinan from Masma‘ Kirdin al-Basri who has said the following. “I used to eat one meal in twenty four hours. I would ask permission to see abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) at such time that I would expect that their table cloth is collected and they have fished their meal. When I would arrive he would ask to return the table cloth. I would find food in it but it would not harm me while if I would eat with others again I could not do so and it would become very difficult for me to sleep because of gases. I complained about it before the Imam (a.s.) and said that if I would eat from your table it does not harm me. He said, “O abu Sayyar, it is because you eat from the table of the virtuous people. Angels shake hands with them on their furnishings.” The narrator has said that I then asked, “Do they (angels) appear to you?” He has said, “The Imam (a.s.) wiped his hand over one of his children and said, ‘They are more kind to our children than we ourselves are.”
