يَا أَبَانُ إِذَا قَدِمْتَ الْكُوفَةَ فَارْوِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُخْلِصاً وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَهُ إِنَّهُ يَأْتِينِي مِنْ كُلِّ صِنْفٍ مِنَ الْأَصْنَافِ أَ فَأَرْوِي لَهُمْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ نَعَمْ يَا أَبَانُ إِنَّهُ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ جَمَعَ اللَّهُ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَ الْآخِرِينَ فَتُسْلَبُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ عَلَى هَذَا الْأَمْرِ.
1. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla ibn Muhammad and A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad all from al- Washsha’ from Ahmad ibn ‘Ai’z from abu al-Hassan al-Sawwaq from Aban ibn Taghlib from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “O Aban, when you will arrive in al-Kufah, narrate this Hadith : ‘Whoever testifies sincerely saying, “No one deserves to be worshipped except Allah,” paradise becomes necessary for him. I (the narrator) then said, ‘All kinds of people will come to me, shall I narrate it to them?’ The Imam said, ‘Yes, O Aban, when it will be the Day of Judgment and Allah will gather all the people of the past and last together, the testimony: ‘No one deserves to be worshipped except Allah,’ will be taken away from them except those who believe in this cause (belief of the followers of Ahl al-Baay (a.s.)).”’

إِذَا دَعَا الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ بَعْدَ مَا دَعَا- مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ اسْتَبْسَلَ عَبْدِي وَ اسْتَسْلَمَ لِأَمْرِي اقْضُوا حَاجَتَهُ.
1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Hisham ibn Salim from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “When a man prays and thereafter says, ‘As Allah wills, there are no means and no power without the help of Allah,’ Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, says, “My servant has accepted dying and has submitted himself to My command. Provide him the help that he needs.’”

سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً صَرَفَ عَنْهُ سَبْعِينَ نَوْعاً مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَاءِ أَيْسَرُ ذَلِكَ الْخَنْقُ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ وَ مَا الْخَنْقُ قَالَ لَا يَعْتَلُّ بِالْجُنُونِ فَيُخْنَقَ.
2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from certain individuals of his people from Jamil who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘Whoever says, “As Allah wills, there are no means and no power without the help of Allah,” seventy times, seventy kinds of misfortunes will be diverted away from him, the least of which is al-Khanq .’ I (the narrator) then asked, ‘May Allah keep my soul in service for your cause, what is al-Khanq ?’ The Imam said, ‘He will not suffer from mental illness (insanity).”’

مَنْ قَالَ فِي دُبُرِ صَلَاةِ الْفَرِيضَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَثْنِيَ رِجْلَيْهِ- أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ* ذُو الْجَلالِ وَ الْإِكْرامِ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَهُ ذُنُوبَهُ وَ لَوْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ.
1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Abd al-Samad from al-Husayn ibn Hammad from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “Whoever after an obligatory prayer and before moving his legs to a second position says, ‘I plead before Allah for forgiveness, no one deserves to be worshipped except Allah, the Living, the Guardian, the Possessor of Glory and Honor and to Him I return,’ three times Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, will forgive his sins even if they are as much as the bubbles of the ocean.’”
