[١]المسباح: ما يسبح به و يعد به الاذكار.
[٢]السامة: ما يسم و لا يقتل مثل العقرب و الزنبور و الهامة ما يسم و يقتل و قد تطلق على ما يدب و ان لم يقتل كالحشرات( فى).
[٣]يعني ان الصبى لما بلغ في متابعة الدعاء الذي يلقيه عليه السلام عليه إلى لفظ رسولك أو الى محمّد زاد في وصفه من تلقاء نفسه« الطيب المبارك» و قرره ابوه عليه السلام عليه و كانه عليه السلام كان يريد إلقاءهما عليه فبادر الصبى و ذكرهما فاستحسنه و قرره عليه فالظرف معترض بين الوصفين أو يكون« الطيب» صفة للصبى مدحه الراوي به و المبارك مقول القول و صفة للنبى فاضاف عليه السلام الطيب أيضا و قال صفه بهما. او عكس ذلك.

أَنَّ شِهَابَ بْنَ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ سَأَلَهُ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع وَ قَالَ قُلْ لَهُ إِنَّ امْرَأَةً تُفْزِعُنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ بِاللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ قُلْ لَهُ اجْعَلْ مِسْبَاحاً وَ كَبِّرِ اللَّهَ أَرْبَعاً وَ ثَلَاثِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً وَ سَبِّحِ اللَّهَ ثَلَاثاً وَ ثَلَاثِينَ تَسْبِيحَةً وَ احْمَدِ اللَّهَ ثَلَاثاً وَ ثَلَاثِينَ وَ قُلْ لا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَ يُمِيتُ وَ يُمِيتُ وَ يُحْيِي بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَ لَهُ اخْتِلافُ اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهارِ وَ هُوَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ* عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ.
7. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa’Id from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from Dawud ibn Farqad from his brother that Shahab ibn ‘Abd Rabbihi asked him to ask help from abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.): “Ask the Imam, ‘A woman frightens me in my dream at night.’ The narrator has said that the Imam said, ‘Tell him to take rosary beads ( sabhah ) and say, ‘Allah is greater than can be described, thirty-four times, all praise belongs to Allah, thirty-three times, Allah is free of defects, thirty-three times,’ then say, “No one deserves to be worshipped except Allah, alone Who has no partner, to Him belongs the Kingdom, all praise belongs to Him, He gives life, causes death, causes death and gives life, in His hand is all good, for Him is the changing of the night and the day and He has power over all things, ten times.’”

لَهُ يَا أَبَهْ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَنَامَ فَقَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ قُلْ- أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً ص عَبْدُهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ أَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَةِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِقُدْرَةِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِجَلَالِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِسُلْطَانِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ* وَ أَعُوذُ بِعَفْوِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِغُفْرَانِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِرَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ السَّامَّةِ وَ الْهَامَّةِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ صَغِيرَةٍ أَوْ كَبِيرَةٍ بِلَيْلٍ أَوْ نَهَارٍ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ فَسَقَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الصَّوَاعِقِ وَ الْبَرَدِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ فَيَقُولُ الصَّبِيُّ الطَّيِّبِ عِنْدَ ذِكْرِ النَّبِيِّ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ نَعَمْ يَا بُنَيَّ الطَّيِّبِ الْمُبَارَكِ.
8. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Mu’awiyah ibn Wahab who has said the following: “One night the son of Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) came to him and said, ‘Father I want to go to sleep.’ He said son, say, ‘1 testify that no one deserves to be worshipped except Allah, that Muhammad (a.s.) is the servant and messenger of Allah. I seek protection with the greatness of Allah. I seek protection with majesty of Allah, I seek protection with the power of Allah, I seek protection with the glory of Allah, I seek protection with the authority of Allah; He has power over all things. I seek protection with the immunity of Allah, I seek protection with the forgiveness of Allah, I seek protection with the mercy of Allah, against the evil of poisonous reptiles and insects, against the evil of small and large animals during the day or night, against the evil of sinful Jinn and human beings, against the evil of the sinful Arab and non-Arab people, against the evil of lightning and cold. O Lord, grant al-Salat (favors) upon Muhammad, Your servant and messenger.’ Mu’awiyah has said that each time the name of the Holy Prophet was mentioned, the boy kept saying “The noble and blessed,” and asked the Imam, ‘Can I say, “The noble and blessed?”’ The Imam said, ‘Yes, son, “The noble and blessed.’”

قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ لَا تَبِيتَ لَيْلَةً حَتَّى تَعَوَّذَ بِأَحَدَ عَشَرَ حَرْفاً قُلْتُ أَخْبِرْنِي بِهَا قَالَ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِقُدْرَةِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِجَلَالِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِسُلْطَانِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِجَمَالِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِدَفْعِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِمَنْعِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِجَمْعِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِمُلْكِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَ بَرَأَ وَ ذَرَأَ وَ تَعَوَّذْ بِهِ كُلَّمَا شِئْتَ.
9. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from certain individuals of his people from Mufaddal ibn ‘Umar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) said to me, ‘If you can, do not go to sleep without seeking protection with eleven letters.’ I then asked, ‘What are they?’ The Imam told me to say, ‘I seek protection with the majesty of Allah, I seek protection with the power of Allah, I seek protection with the glory of Allah, I seek protection with the authority of Allah, I seek protection with the beauty of Allah, I seek protection with the defense of Allah, I seek protection with the prevention of Allah, I seek protection with the community of Allah, I seek protection with the possession of Allah, I seek protection with the face of Allah, I seek protection with the Messenger of Allah against the evil of whatever He has created, spread and settled. ’ The Imam said, ‘You may seek protection with these letters whenever you like.’”
