سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع- عَنْ ثَمَنِ الْعَصِيرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْلِيَ لِمَنْ يَبْتَاعُهُ لِيَطْبُخَهُ أَوْ يَجْعَلَهُ خَمْراً قَالَ إِذَا بِعْتَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَكُونَ خَمْراً وَ هُوَ حَلَالٌ فَلَا بَأْسَ.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the price of juice before it boiled for one who wanted to buy it so he could cook or make wine out of it. He (the Imam) said, ‘If you sell before it is wine and it is lawful, then selling is not unlawful.’”
