مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَيَابَةَ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ السَّمَكِ يُصَادُ ثُمَّ يُجْعَلُ فِي شَيْءٍ ثُمَّ يُعَادُ إِلَى الْمَاءِ فَيَمُوتُ فِيهِ فَقَالَ لَا تَأْكُلْهُ.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban from ‘Abd al- Rahman ibn Sayabah who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about fish which is caught, then placed in something but it returns into the water and dies in it. He (the Imam) said, ‘Do not use it for food.”’
