9. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from ibn Faddal from Hafs ibn al-Jurjaniy from abu al-Khasib al-Rabi‘ ibn Bakr al-Azdiy from ‘ Abd al- Rahim al-Qasir who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has stated this Hadith. There is one’s clipping his mustache and fingernails every Friday. When clipping, one should say, “In the name of Allah, with Allah, and on the Sunnah of Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause.” For every piece of clipped hair Allah writes for him the reward of setting free one enslaved soul. He will not become ill except the illness because of which he will die.’”
