بَابُ الْبَعِيرِ وَ الثَّوْرِ يَمْتَنِعَانِ مِنَ الذَّبْحِ‌

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

إِذَا امْتَنَعَ عَلَيْكَ بَعِيرٌ وَ أَنْتَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَنْحَرَهُ فَانْطَلَقَ مِنْكَ فَإِنْ خَشِيتَ أَنْ يَسْبِقَكَ فَضَرَبْتَهُ بِسَيْفٍ أَوْ طَعَنْتَهُ بِرُمْحٍ بَعْدَ أَنْ تُسَمِّيَ فَكُلْ إِلَّا أَنْ تُدْرِكَهُ وَ لَمْ يَمُتْ بَعْدُ فَذَكِّهِ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Safwan from ‘Is ibn al-Qasim who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that once in al-Kufah a bull revolted and broke loose. People rushed with their swords and beat it down. They asked ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), about it and he (the Imam) said, ‘It is a fast slaughtering but its flesh is lawful for food.’”

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ عِيصِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

إِنَّ ثَوْراً بِالْكُوفَةِ ثَارَ فَبَادَرَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ بِأَسْيَافِهِمْ فَضَرَبُوهُ فَأَتَوْا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع فَسَأَلُوهُ فَقَالَ ذَكَاةٌ وَحِيَّةٌ وَ لَحْمُهُ حَلَالٌ.

2. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il has narrated from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan from ibn Muskan from Muhammad al-Halabiy who has said the following: “About the case of a bull that broke loose and people rushed with their swords and beat it down, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘They asked ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), about it and he (the Imam) said, ‘It is a fast slaughtering but its flesh is lawful for food.’”

أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَلَبِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ فِي ثَوْرٍ تَعَاصَى فَابْتَدَرُوهُ بِأَسْيَافِهِمْ وَ سَمَّوْا وَ أَتَوْا عَلِيّاً ع فَقَالَ هَذِهِ ذَكَاةٌ وَحِيَّةٌ وَ لَحْمُهُ حَلَالٌ.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban ‘Uthman from Ali has narrated from his father from-Fadl ibn ‘Abd al-Malik and ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that certain people once came to the Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, and said that their cow became difficult with them and they had only to subdue it with their sword. He (the Messenger of Allah) commanded them to use it for food.’”

أَنَّ قَوْماً أَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ ص فَقَالُوا إِنَّ بَقَرَةً لَنَا غَلَبَتْنَا وَ اسْتَصْعَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا فَضَرَبْنَاهَا بِالسَّيْفِ فَأَمَرَهُمْ بِأَكْلِهَا.

4. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from Aban from ’Isma‘il al-Ju‘fiy who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a camel that falls in a well and about how to Nahr (manner of slaughtering camels) it. He (the Imam) said, ‘You can use weapons for Nahr and mention the name of Allah; then you can use it for food.’”

حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَمَاعَةَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِيثَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْجُعْفِيِّ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع بَعِيرٌ تَرَدَّى فِي بِئْرٍ كَيْفَ يُنْحَرُ قَالَ تُدْخِلُ الْحَرْبَةَ فَتَطْعُنُهُ بِهَا وَ تُسَمِّي وَ تَأْكُلُ.

Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from Ahmad Bin Al Hassan Al Maysamy, from Aban, from Ismail Al Ju’fy who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah asws , ‘A camel fell down in a well, how can it be sacrificed?’ He asws said: ‘Stab it with a bayonet and Name ( Bismillah ) and eat’.
