قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ النَّظْرَةُ سَهْمٌ مِنْ سِهَامِ إِبْلِيسَ مَسْمُومٌ مَنْ تَرَكَهَا لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَا لِغَيْرِهِ أَعْقَبَهُ اللَّهُ إِيمَاناً يَجِدُ طَعْمَهُ.

Hadith.4969 - It is narrated from Hisham ibn Salim from Uqbah who said that Abu Abdullah (as) said: "A glance (at what is forbidden) is a poisoned arrow from the arrows of Iblis. Whoever abandons it for the sake of Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, not for any other reason, Allah (swt) will grant him faith whose sweetness he will find in his heart."

وَ قَالَ أَبُو بَصِيرٍ لِلصَّادِقِ ع‌ الرَّجُلُ تَمُرُّ بِهِ الْمَرْأَةُ فَيَنْظُرُ إِلَى خَلْفِهَا قَالَ أَ يَسُرُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يُنْظَرَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ وَ ذَاتِ قَرَابَتِهِ قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ فَارْضَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا تَرْضَاهُ لِنَفْسِكَ‌.

Hadith.4972 - Abu Basir asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about a man who looks at a woman passing by and then turns to look at her from behind. Imam (as) replied: "Would any of you like someone to look at his family or close female relatives?" I said: "No." Imam (as) said: "Then be pleased for others what you are pleased with for yourself."

Hadith.4974 - Safwan ibn Yahya narrated from Abu Al-Hasan (as) regarding the saying of Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic: "O' my father, hire him! Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and trustworthy" (Surah Al-Qasas, 28:26). Imam (as) said: "Shu'ayb (as) said to his daughter, My daughter, he is strong as you recognized by his lifting of the rock, but how did you know he is trustworthy?' She replied: O' my father, I was walking ahead of him, and he said to me, Walk behind me, and if I go astray, guide me to the path, for we are a people who do not look at the backs of women.'"

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا النَّظْرَةُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْئاً فَلْيَأْتِ أَهْلَهُ

[3]أصل الخبر كما رواه الكليني ج 5 ص 494 بسند ضعيف عن حمّاد بن عثمان عن أبي عبد اللّه عليه السلام هكذا قال:« رأى رسول اللّه صلّى اللّه عليه و آله امرأة فأعجبته فدخل على أمّ سلمة و كان يومها فأصاب منها و خرج الى الناس و رأسه يقطر فقال: أيّها الناس انما النظر من الشيطان فمن وجد من ذلك شيئا فليأت أهله» و قال العلّامة المجلسيّ: قوله عليه السلام« فأعجبته» لا ينافى العصمة لانه ليس من الأمور الاختيارية حتّى يتعلّق بها التكليف، و أمّا نظره صلّى اللّه عليه و آله إليها فاما أن يكون بغير اختيار أو يكون قبل نزول حكم الحجاب على أن حرمة النظر الى الوجه و الكفين بعد الحجاب أيضا غير ثابت.ص 19

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَعْتَرِضُ الْأَمَةَ لِيَشْتَرِيَهَا قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى مَحَاسِنِهَا وَ يَمَسَّهَا مَا لَمْ يَنْظُرْ إِلَى مَا لَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُ النَّظَرُ إِلَيْهِ‌.

Hadith.4976 - Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad Al-Jawhari narrated from Ali ibn Abi Hamzah from Abu Basir, who said: "I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about a man who examines a slave woman to purchase her. Imam (as) said: 'There is no harm in looking at her attractive features and touching her, as long as he does not look at what is not appropriate for him to see.'"
