Al-Raghbah (Fondness), al-Rahbah (Anxiety), al-Tadarru’ (Imploration), al-Tabattul (Sincerity), al-‘Ibtihal (Appealing), al-Isti’adha (Begging for refuge), al-Mas’alah (Requesting)

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- فَمَا اسْتَكانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ‌ وَ ما يَتَضَرَّعُونَ‌[1] فَقَالَ الِاسْتِكَانَةُ هُوَ الْخُضُوعُ وَ التَّضَرُّعُ هُوَ رَفْعُ الْيَدَيْنِ وَ التَّضَرُّعُ بِهِمَا.

ذَكَرَ الرَّغْبَةَ وَ أَبْرَزَ بَاطِنَ رَاحَتَيْهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ[2] وَ هَكَذَا الرَّهْبَةُ وَ جَعَلَ ظَهْرَ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَ هَكَذَا التَّضَرُّعُ وَ حَرَّكَ أَصَابِعَهُ يَمِيناً وَ شِمَالًا وَ هَكَذَا التَّبَتُّلُ وَ يَرْفَعُ أَصَابِعَهُ مَرَّةً وَ يَضَعُهَا مَرَّةً وَ هَكَذَا الِابْتِهَالُ وَ مَدَّ يَدَهُ تِلْقَاءَ وَجْهِهِ إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ وَ لَا يَبْتَهِلُ حَتَّى تَجْرِيَ الدَّمْعَةُ.
