أَنَّهُمَا قَالا[1] لَا تَغْسِلْ ثَوْبَكَ مِنْ بَوْلِ شَيْءٍ يُؤْكَلُ لَحْمُهُ.
“The two Imam (a.s.), have said, ‘It is not necessary for you to wash your clothes because of urine of the edible animals.’”
أَنَّهُمَا قَالا[1] لَا تَغْسِلْ ثَوْبَكَ مِنْ بَوْلِ شَيْءٍ يُؤْكَلُ لَحْمُهُ.
“The two Imam (a.s.), have said, ‘It is not necessary for you to wash your clothes because of urine of the edible animals.’”
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ أَلْبَانِ الْإِبِلِ وَ الْغَنَمِ وَ الْبَقَرِ وَ أَبْوَالِهَا وَ لُحُومِهَا فَقَالَ لَا تَوَضَّأْ مِنْهُ إِنْ أَصَابَكَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ أَوْ ثَوْباً لَكَ فَلَا تَغْسِلْهُ إِلَّا أَنْ تَتَنَظَّفَ قَالَ وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ أَبْوَالِ الدَّوَابِّ وَ الْبِغَالِ وَ الْحَمِيرِ فَقَالَ اغْسِلْهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَعْلَمْ مَكَانَهُ فَاغْسِلِ الثَّوْبَ كُلَّهُ وَ إِنْ شَكَكْتَ فَانْضِحْهُ.

Hammad has narrated from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the milk of camels, sheep and cows and their urine and their meat. He (the Imam) said, ‘You must not take Wudu’ with the water which is mixed with any of such items. You do not ne
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع اغْسِلْ ثَوْبَكَ مِنْ أَبْوَالِ مَا لَا يُؤْكَلُ لَحْمُهُ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Wash your clothes because of the urine of inedible animals.’”
لَهُ أَ لَيْسَ لُحُومُهَا حَلَالًا قَالَ بَلَى وَ لَكِنْ لَيْسَ مِمَّا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لِلْأَكْلِ.
‘It is true but Allah has not made it for eating.’”
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَا تَقُولُ فِي أَبْوَالِ الدَّوَابِّ وَ أَرْوَاثِهَا قَالَ أَمَّا أَبْوَالُهَا فَاغْسِلْ إِنْ أَصَابَكَ وَ أَمَّا أَرْوَاثُهَا فَهِيَ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ.
“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘What do you say about the urine of animals and their dung?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Because of their urine you must wash and their dung is more than that.’”
لَا بَأْسَ بِرَوْثِ الْحَمِيرِ وَ اغْسِلْ أَبْوَالَهَا.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Dung of donkeys is not harmful but you must wash clean their urine.’”
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَمَّا يَخْرُجُ مِنْ مَنْخِرِ الدَّابَّةِ يُصِيبُنِي قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ.
“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about things that come out of the nostrils of animals. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’”
إِنْ أَصَابَ الثَّوْبَ شَيْءٌ مِنْ بَوْلِ السِّنَّوْرِ فَلَا يَصْلُحُ الصَّلَاةُ فِيهِ حَتَّى تَغْسِلَهُ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not proper to perform Salah (prayer) with clothes that have come in contact with the urine of cat.’”
كُلُّ شَيْءٍ يَطِيرُ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِبَوْلِهِ وَ خُرْئِهِ[1].
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Urine and droppings of the things that fly are not harmful.”’
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنِّي أُعَالِجُ الدَّوَابَّ فَرُبَّمَا خَرَجْتُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ قَدْ بَالَتْ وَ رَاثَتْ فَيَضْرِبُ أَحَدُهَا بِرِجْلِهِ أَوْ يَدِهِ فَيَنْضِحُ عَلَى ثِيَابِي فَأُصْبِحُ فَأَرَى أَثَرَهُ فِيهِ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ شَيْءٌ.
“I once said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘I deal with animals. Some times I go out during the night, and animals may have urinated and dunged and they spread it with their legs which pollutes my clothes; and in the morning I find the marks.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘You are not required to do anything.’”
