Rules about Performing Salah (Prayer) With a Mask on One’s Face, with Dyes, Does not Take out One’s Hands from Under One’s Clothes during Salah (prayer)

قُلْتُ لَهُ أَ يُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ وَ هُوَ مُتَلَثِّمٌ فَقَالَ أَمَّا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَلَا وَ أَمَّا عَلَى الدَّابَّةِ فَلَا بَأْسَ.

“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about a man’s performing Salah (prayer) with his face veiled. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not permissible while on the ground; however, while riding on a stumper is not an offense.’”

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي وَ عَلَيْهِ خِضَابُهُ قَالَ لَا يُصَلِّي وَ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ وَ لَكِنْ يَنْزِعُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ قُلْتُ إِنَّ حِنَّاهُ وَ خِرْقَتَهُ نَظِيفَةٌ فَقَالَ لَا يُصَلِّي وَ هُوَ عَلَيْهِ وَ الْمَرْأَةُ أَيْضاً لَا تُصَلِّي وَ عَلَيْهَا خِضَابُهَا.
