قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ‌ يَضْحَكُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ‌[4] إِلَى رَجُلٍ فِي كَتِيبَةٍ يَعْرِضُ لَهُمْ سَبُعٌ أَوْ لِصٌّ فَحَمَاهُمْ أَنْ يَجُوزُوا[5].

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from ibn Faddal from abu Jamilah from Sa‘d ibn Tarif from al-Asbagh ibn Nubatah who has said the following: “’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘Allah, the most Majestic, the most Glorious, laughs (loves) at a man in a group of soldiers wh

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ مَنْ رَدَّ عَنْ قَوْمٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَادِيَةَ مَاءٍ أَوْ نَارٍ[1] وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ. بَابٌ‌

“If one defends a community of Muslims in the matters of their water or fire, paradise becomes necessary (allotted) for him.’”

مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ بَسْطَ اللِّسَانِ وَ كَفَّ الْيَدِ وَ لَكِنْ جَعَلَهُمَا يُبْسَطَانِ مَعاً وَ يُكَفَّانِ مَعاً.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Allah, the most Majestic, the most Glorious, has not made the tongue to extend and the hands to withhold but that He has made them to extend and withhold together.”
