Women’s’ Attending ‘Id

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع- عَنْ خُرُوجِ النِّسَاءِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَا إِلَّا عَجُوزٌ عَلَيْهَا مَنْقَلَاهَا يَعْنِي الْخُفَّيْنِ‌[2].

“This is concerning my question before abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about women’s going out for the two ‘Id. He (the Imam) said, ‘No, except old women wearing their pairs of shoes.’” (Consult Fatwah about this hadith)

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع- عَنْ خُرُوجِ النِّسَاءِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ وَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ لَا إِلَّا امْرَأَةٌ مُسِنَّةٌ.

He (the Imam) said, ‘No, except old women.’” (Consult Fatwah about this hadith)
