مَنْ غَسَلَ يَدَهُ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ عَاشَ فِي سَعَةٍ وَ عُوفِيَ مِنْ بَلْوَى فِي جَسَدِهِ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who washes his hand before and after food, lives a rich life and remains safe from troubles in his body.”’
مَنْ غَسَلَ يَدَهُ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ عَاشَ فِي سَعَةٍ وَ عُوفِيَ مِنْ بَلْوَى فِي جَسَدِهِ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One who washes his hand before and after food, lives a rich life and remains safe from troubles in his body.”’
قَالَ: يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ الْوُضُوءُ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ يُذْهِبَانِ الْفَقْرَ قُلْتُ بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَ أُمِّي يَذْهَبَانِ بِالْفَقْرِ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ يَذْهَبَانِ بِهِ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once said, ‘O abu Hamzah, Wudu (washing) before and after eating food removes poverty.’ I then said, I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, does it remove poverty?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, it removes poverty.’”
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع غَسْلُ الْيَدَيْنِ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْعُمُرِ وَ إِمَاطَةٌ لِلْغَمَرِ عَنِ الثِّيَابِ وَ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ[1].
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘Washing hands before and after eating food removes stains from clothes and clears eyesight.’”
مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَكْثُرَ خَيْرُ بَيْتِهِ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ عِنْدَ حُضُورِ طَعَامِهِ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one likes to see blessings in his house to increase, he must take wudu for taking food.’”
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ الْوُضُوءُ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ يَزِيدَانِ فِي الرِّزْقِ. - وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ: أَوَّلُهُ يَنْفِي الْفَقْرَ وَ آخِرُهُ يَنْفِي الْهَمَّ.
“I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Wudu before and after eating food increases one’s sustenance.’ It is narrated that the Messenger of Allah has said, ‘Wudu before eating food removes poverty and that which is after food removes depression.’”
