قَالَ لِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ع اشْتَرِ لِنَفْسِكَ خَزّاً وَ إِنْ شِئْتَ فَوَشْياً فَقُلْتُ كُلَّ الْوَشْيِ فَقَالَ وَ مَا الْوَشْيُ قُلْتُ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِ قُطْنٌ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ حَرَامٌ قَالَ الْبَسْ مَا فِيهِ قُطْنٌ.
“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), once said to me, ‘Buy al-Khazz (garments made of skin or fur of an animal that lives in water) for yourself or if you like buy al-Washy.’ I then asked, ‘All with al- Washy?’ He (the Imam) asked, ‘ What is al-Washy ?’ I replied, ‘It is that which has no cotton in it and they say it is unlawful.’ H
