Garments made entirely of al-Washy (al-Khazz, garments made of skin or fur of an animal that lives in water)

قَالَ لِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ع اشْتَرِ لِنَفْسِكَ خَزّاً وَ إِنْ شِئْتَ فَوَشْياً فَقُلْتُ كُلَّ الْوَشْيِ فَقَالَ وَ مَا الْوَشْيُ قُلْتُ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِ قُطْنٌ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ حَرَامٌ قَالَ الْبَسْ مَا فِيهِ قُطْنٌ.

“Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), once said to me, ‘Buy al-Khazz (garments made of skin or fur of an animal that lives in water) for yourself or if you like buy al-Washy.’ I then asked, ‘All with al- Washy?’ He (the Imam) asked, ‘ What is al-Washy ?’ I replied, ‘It is that which has no cotton in it and they say it is unlawful.’ H

أَنَّهُ حُمِلَ إِلَيْهِ الْوَشْيُ.

:That he delivered al-Washy to him (the Imam) (a.s.).

أَنَّهُ رَأَى عَلَى جَوَارِي أَبِي الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ع الْوَشْيَ

he saw on the girls of abu al-Hassan al-Washy (al-Khazz, garments made of skin or fur of an animal that lives in water) .
