حَيْثُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ص بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِهِمْ فَعَمُوا وَ صَمُّوا حَيْثُ قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص ثُمَّ تابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَيْثُ قَامَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع قَالَ ثُمَّ عَمُوا وَ صَمُّوا إِلَى السَّاعَةِ.
"When the Prophet (saw) was among them, they were blind and deaf. When the Messenger of Allah (saw) passed away, Allah then accepted their repentance when the Commander of the Faithful (as) stood up. Then they became blind and deaf until this hour."
