سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع عَنْهُمَا[3] فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا الْفَضْلِ مَا تَسْأَلُنِي عَنْهُمَا فَوَ اللَّهِ مَا مَاتَ مِنَّا مَيِّتٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا سَاخِطاً عَلَيْهِمَا وَ مَا مِنَّا الْيَوْمَ إِلَّا سَاخِطاً عَلَيْهِمَا يُوصِي بِذَلِكَ الْكَبِيرُ مِنَّا الصَّغِيرَ إِنَّهُمَا ظَلَمَانَا حَقَّنَا وَ مَنَعَانَا فَيْئَنَا وَ كَانَا أَوَّلَ مَنْ رَكِبَ أَعْنَاقَنَا وَ بَثَقَا عَلَيْنَا بَثْقاً[4] فِي الْإِسْلَامِ لَا يُسْكَر
I asked Abu Ja’far (asws) about the two (Abu Bakr and Umar), so he (asws) said: ‘O Abu Al-Fazl, don’t ask me about these two, for by Allah (azwj), no one from among us (asws) passes away at all except being angry against these two, and there is none from us (asws) today except that he (asws) is angry at them.
