إِنَّ النَّاسَ أَصَابَهُمْ قَحْطٌ شَدِيدٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ ع فَشَكَوْا ذَلِكَ إِلَيْهِ وَ طَلَبُوا إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يَسْتَسْقِيَ لَهُمْ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ إِذَا صَلَّيْتُ الْغَدَاةَ مَضَيْتُ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ مَضَى وَ مَضَوْا فَلَمَّا أَنْ كَانَ فِي بَعْضِ الطَّرِيقِ إِذَا هُوَ بِنَمْلَةٍ رَافِعَةٍ يَدَهَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَاضِعَةٍ قَدَمَيْهَا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَ هِيَ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إ
‘The people were affected by severe drought during the era of Suleiman Bin Dawood (as). So they complained about that to him (as), and sought from him (as) that he (as) should Pray for them’.
